Day Two: Across New Mexico Up to Colorado Springs, CO
It was a looong trip out of Texas, but once out of Texas, New Mexico and then Colorado were easy.
In New Mexico I hopped off major highways and I took very long "shortcuts" northward across very lonely and deserted deserts and mountains. For most of the trip, I was alone for as far as I could see:
I was most definitely grateful for a trusty and reliable car!
